The Timeline

2009 SpringWe have begun preliminary testing and solidified major aspects of our methodology.
2009 SummerWe will complete the algorithm, and locate and purchase specific machines and supplies for testing the solar cells.
2009 FallMost of the data collection will be conducted at this time. These initial findings will be presented at the Junior Colloquia, and we would meanwhile draft sections I, II, and III of our thesis.
2009 WinterAny members of the team who live near the University of Maryland campus may continue testing the solar cells, while everyone will continue the revision of the first three sections of our thesis.
2010 SpringWe will continue testing and compare results with those of our untreated control cells. Afterwards, we will analyze our data to determine which combination of pigments is most efficient and display our findings at Undergraduate Research Day.
2010 SummerWe will begin writing the last two sections of our thesis and start the final revision process.
2010 FallAfter fixing problems encountered in our research, we will finish revising our thesis and submit it for approval.
2011 SpringWe will finalize our thesis as well as our panel of experts, and defend our thesis at the Senior Thesis Conference.
