My goals for the team are not only to create a successful refrigeration prototype, but also to show our progress and growth as undergraduate students as we complete the thesis process. I feel privileged to work with such a bright, energetic, and passionate team and look forward to our experience in the Gemstone Program together.
|
As a member of Team FRESH, I hope to gain a better understanding of the engineering aspect behind refrigeration devices and the public health aspect behind vaccine distribution. I believe we have a great group of dedicated students who are committed to creating a positive impact through our project.

Being on Team FRESH really helps me experience what it is like to work with a research team day in and day out. I have learned a lot from both the engineering aspects of our project and non-technical parts and look forward to learning even more as our project progresses. It is a once in a life time experience that I am glad to be a part of.

I'm so excited to be a part of Team FRESH. We have a great group of people and we all get along really well with one another. We are a great team now but I'm definitely looking forward to growing even closer with all of my teammates. I don't know for sure how far our project will take us over the next two years, but I do know that we are on our way to doing great things!

In addition to learning more about the engineering of refrigeration, I am very interested in delving into the public health aspects of this project. I hope that this team will ultimately be able to make a difference in the way vaccines are distributed and impact the cold chain in some way or another.
|
I hope to get some teamwork and product development experience while helping the global community. Perhaps even an in depth understanding of thermodynamic principals and measurement machinery, who knows? Go team FRESH!

One of the basic values of engineering is pursuing a better world. Team FRESH's work will bring us one step in the direction of a better world. I am proud to be a part of this, and privileged to know my teammates and mentor!
|
I hope that our project, in the very least, can contribute to the refrigeration field and give way to a better solution for vaccine storage. Overall I feel that participating in such an interdisciplinary research project has been a great experience, especially one with a long-term partnership with such motivated students. I look forward to a great end result!

Team FRESH has been great so far in letting me apply the engineering skills that I spend the rest of my time acquiring. I love working with this team and think that even though we have lofty goals, we will succeed in them.
|
I hope that our team can help increase availability to vaccines for everyone. Throughout the process, I want to learn more about our topic and how to effectively function in a team.

I really think that the current state of vaccine delivery needs major improvement. I joined this team because the concept behind it seemed to fill a glaring hole in medicine, and it has the potential to help many people. I am proud to have such dedicated teammates and a helpful and involved mentor.
|
I am so excited to be working towards the goal of making vaccines a little bit more accessible in low-resource countries. Aside from poring over WHO reports and tinkering with thermistors, I feel incredibly lucky to be working with a team of such creative, hard-working, and fresh people. Here's to a working prototype!
