About Us
Team ELECTRODE (Evaluating Linear-Radial Electrode Conformations for Tissue Repair and
Organizing a Device for Experimentation) is a senior-year team as part of the Gemstone Program at the
University of Maryland, College Park. The team is under the guidance of Dr. John Fisher from the Bioengineering Department at
the University of Maryland, head of the Tissue Engineering Lab. Team ELECTRODE consists of 13 students from a diverse background,
ranging from biology to electrical engineering.
Goal
We seek to develop a new treatment for diabetic ulcers by determining the effect of a linear and radial electrode setup.
