Poultry litter

Poultry litter is chicken manure mixed with bedding. It is an excellent natural fertilizer and contains high concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. In recent years, poultry litter has begun to replace costly synthetic fertilizers in the agriculture industry. Poultry litter is applied to fields during the spring and early summer, just prior to planting crops.
