Proposal Presentation
This is an abbreviated form of our proposal, the powerpoint

The Junior Colloquium is an annual presentation by the Gemstone
program's junior teams. Its purpose is to present the progress
of the different teams since the proposal, as well as to inform
freshmen and sophomores on how Gemstone teams operate.

Undergraduate Research Day is an opportunity for the University
of Maryland's undergraduates to present their research to the
campus community, including finished products and progress.
Gemstone junior teams present progress on their research, and
Gemstone freshmen present their progress in their GEMS104
classes. Other researchers at the University, including interns
and independent researchers, display their own projects and
