Congratulations Team OPTIC!

Our Gemstone students travel all over the country (and world) to present their research! Seniors Arjun Agarwal and Daniel Klawson from Team OPTIC recently traveled to San Diego to present a poster at the 2020 American Geophysical Union’s Ocean Sciences Meeting! Their research focuses on proposing optical wireless communication links for live time monitoring of fragile ocean environments.

Congratulations to former Gemstone mentors Mark Fuge and Ryan Sochol, who have received the NSF career award.
Mark Fuge is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering who received this award to fund his project "Learning Design Representations: The Effect of Differential Geometric Manifolds on the Inference of Design Structure". To learn more about Mark Fuge's award click here.
